Although I’ve written here in the past about keeping your voice and general health in good order, I thought I’d better remind readers again about the importance of being fit for work as an event host or presenter.
I’ve some engagements coming up soon and I have to ensure that I’m up to it from a physical point of view. I rarely have a problem because experience tells me that the biggest single thing any performer can’t do without is enough sleep and “correct sleep” at that. A friend of mine, Sammy Margo who is one of the UK’s leading physiotherapists published “The Good Sleep Guide” and has a Facebook page to compliment it.
I’d recommend it to anyone who needs to be on their mettle during the waking hours.
