Time and time again I see really good presenters and speakers talking on an important topic and yet their speech is marred by poor lighting AV or images out of focus Part of a presenters duty is to prepare properly for an event This includes discussions with the event planner and or manager the AV team well before the event takes place I appreciate that smaller events will hwve fewer people involved but this is no excuse not to run through what you have to say Occasionally there are things which are outside of your control in which case you must always have a PLAN B ready This may involve reading your slides from notes
Always ask questions that exhibitors and attendees find easy to answer.
