Being An Event Host – Tip No. 42 – Practice, Practice, Practice

Like any performance, introducing others in a stylish, appropriate and careful way takes practice…and lots of it. An event host will have put many hours of practice before getting up on stage.

There’s no rule book which points out what you need to do as a host so my advice is simply this:

1. Don’t leave your preparation until a day or two before an event.

2. Make sure you know how your going to introduce the speakers.

3. Learn your lines thoroughly – Read Tip No. 26
