Don’t Die Soon

The more you lead an active life the less likely you’ll suffer from a heart attack in later life.
Nothing new in this,  but I was interested in the timing of such information from the British Heart Foundation printed here in the Daily Mail 48 hours after the end of the  London 2012 Olympics. I don’t think there’s anything particularly “bandwaggoning” in this just a plain and simple suggestion that those of a certain age would be wise to take up some exercise. Or as a spokesperson put it:
Maureen Talbot, senior cardiac nurse at the British Heart Foundation, said: ‘Donning your gardening gloves, or picking up a paint brush, can still go a long way to help look after your heart health, as exercise can have a big impact on how well your heart ages
