Who hasn’t come right back down to earth after the “awful” financial news?
For me it started about ten minutes after waving goodbye to Al Pacino and Robert de Niro in Leicester Square yesterday afternoon. Assisting with the LSQ TV “fan-cam” can be fun, even rewarding but not when you’re squashed up against the railings. The things I do in order to become a top tv presenter !
So we have a crisis on our hands; here’s some reflections from the Blogosphere, starting with the one and only Dizzy, who delves into the world of councillors and their ability to work from home. Raedwald, that fine Ipswich Town supporter, highllights green issues with senior Labour MP’s. That’s green with envy, not the other type!
Moving on, Danny Finklestein from the Times Online, queries the pronounciation of Lehman Brothers. (I’ve always said LAY-man, not LEE-man). I guess it’s all academic anyway. Young hopeful, Steve Immons enjoyed lunch at the Rotary Club of London but Deb Acle couldn’t even get served at the supermarket. (Hilarious this one)
Back to politics and Northamptonshire’s finest, Tony Sharp, writes about the LibDems. Cherie, no not that Cherie, posts about Word Clouds. Anything to do with “thought showers”? And finally, my lovely friend from across the Atlantic, Jennifer Jones, posts about a book that tells you how to rid your life of hangers on, or those people that just drain you. You know who they are don’t you!
Have a great rest of the week.
Crisis, what crisis. The financial situation has been hyped up by the media. So we’ll all be a bit poorer in the future. Does it really matter?
Glass half-full I say.
Hmm! Thoughts showers, I think there were quite a few of those at my meeting today!
Thanks
Crisis? In my country, crisis has begun since I was born. No, just kidding. This is life. We can’t only hope the best for us, just make it!
