Never Apologise

London, UK

Last week, I shared a platform with Alan Stevens the Media Coach. Before the event we spoke about public-speaking in general and whether our opponents (we were in a debate) were confident speakers or not. As it turned out, all four of us acquitted ourselves well.
A couple of years ago, Alan wrote a blog post about this very subject. His message – NEVER apologise to an audience about your speaking or presentation abilities.
