Should we be frank and admit we are heading into a recession?

………..says the latest Kintish newsletter. Well we could be. So what! Will Kintish says that despite all the doom and gloom there is still business to be done. His newsletter goes on to say…..

“There’s still work around, the business world hasn’t fully closed, all it means is people wanting to sustain and maybe survive, have to try that little bit harder. Stop waiting for those referrals and existing clients coming back for more. Become more proactive, get out to more business networking events, meet more people, ask more questions, listen more carefully, follow up more often. Don’t hear the word, ‘no,’ just the phrase ‘not yet’. Don’t take the ‘no’ as personal rejection; it’s business. They’re only rejecting the offer of your products or services and until they are ready, willing and able, they won’t buy. Read more business networking tips“.

Next month, I’m presenting my first “Communicate With Clarity” seminar. There’ll be networking opportunities and you’ll learn and re-learn how to be more effective on the phone.

Your post echoes my sentiments well Jeremy! At the local business networking events I’ve been to, as recently as last week, it is still definitely business as usual. The owners of small businesses haven’t got time for a recession, they’re too busy!
