Networking your way to success

Looks like Andy Lopata made a hit last night on my radio show at JCom. He was the guest on “PressPlay” where we chatted about his new networking venture “Word of Mouse“. The feedback afterwards was good and he may well joining me again in the future.
The most important point he raised last night was expectation. One needs “give” to a networking group before you can reap any rewards. A sentiment most of us would agree with.
Another great networker is Alan Stevens, who Andy and I both know. I bumped into Alan in Central London earlier today. Alan is Chairman of the Professional Speakers Association. Two years ago, he published “The Pocket Media Coach”. You can get a copy here
