How to Win Speaking Contests
London, UK
Looming on the horizon is competition night at London Corinthians Toastmasters Club. On the evening of March 13th it’ll be the International Speech and Evaluation Contests and I’ll be participating in both. As an ATM (Advanced Toastmaster), expectations are high.
Attending a Toastmasters meeting is like free theatre in which you, if you want to, can participate. Another well-known blogger, Ellee Seymour goes to her speaking club in Cambridge. She clearly enjoys her time there.
So, if you’ve a few hours to spare in a couple of weeks time and you’re in the Victoria area of Central London, please join us.
My speech that evening, will be loosely based on the talk I gave at The Rotary Club of Broadstairs last week. It was well received and most of the audience seemed to keep awake for the entire 15 minutes! At the contest my speech along with the other contestants will be shorter in duration. It’ll be a great evening.

Hi Jeremy,
I’m going to see if I can make it on March 13th, as long as I don’t have a clash. Just out of interest, what was that information you saw on Web 2.0 which you posted in a comment on my blog recently?
Cheers,
Jason
